How It Works
We are an all inclusive studio! No extra sitting fee or studio fees! The cost of the pottery includes the price of the bisque (pottery), paints, brushes, design tools, staff assistance, glazing & firing time (kiln) and the time you spend painting. Take your time, no stress. Take as long as you need to "Get Your Paint On"!
Here is how "Getting Your Paint On" works:
Step 1: Select your piece (or pieces) to paint
We have hundreds of pieces to choose from. You can even buy ones that you like and we will hold them for your future visits.
Step 2: After a brief orientation where we explain "How to Get Your Paint On"
You are off to begin creating. We have several techniques, sponges, stamps, stencils and display items throughout the store that can help inspire you.
Step 3: Paint Away!
Pick out your paints. Look at our sample flowers to see what the paints look like when they have been painted and fired. We also have several specialty paints that cost a little more, but they really add that designer touch to vases! We have samples so you can see what they look like as well.
Step 4: Leave your piece for firing
When finished with your piece of art, your completed piece will be glazed (lead-free) & fired in our kiln and ready for pickup within 5 to 7 days.
Step 5: Pick up your masterpiece
Enjoy your finished one of a kind piece of pottery. Watch others be in awe of you and your skills!
